$59 gets you cheapest Cowboys ticket in 2009

IRVING, Texas (AP) - The cheapest Dallas Cowboys tickets in the new $1 billion stadium being built in Arlington will cost just under $60, the team announced Thursday.

The Cowboys say about 50,000 reserved seats in the upper and lower bowls will range from $59 to $125.

That's slightly higher than prices at Texas Stadium in Irving, where the Cowboys will play their final season this year. Those similar tickets range from $50 to $129.

Of the newly announced prices, most of those reserved seats will have options to give the owner the right to buy season tickets for 30 years. The price of those seat options ranges from $2,000 to $5,000, per ticket. About 20 percent won't have seat options, according to a statement from the Cowboys.

The new retractable roof stadium will host the 2011 Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys also announced details on so-called loge seats, to be located at midfield on the first six rows in the upper bowl of the new venue.

Those 1,200 seats will have "club-style" cushioning and access to club parking.

The option fee is $12,000 per seat. Season tickets will go for $125 apiece, the Cowboys said.
