Fireworks, live music, dance and zumba teams and presentations by area school cheerleader teams will be among the many events during the Willacy County Centennial Festival slated for this Saturday, Dec. 3.

The event, will feature Conjunto Hall of Fame Bene Medina, country artist Aaron Watson, Ruben Ramos & The Mexican Revolution and several local bands such as Dead Broke, Saul y Los River Bandits and Big Daddy Bone.

Most of the events will be held on the grounds of the Willacy County Courthouse, while a concert starting at 6 p. m. with Medina, Watson, Philip Thomas and Andrew Wade Band, will take place at the Willacy County Livestock Show Grounds.

Tickets for the concert at $ 5 for general admission, $25 for a reserved area and $ 100 for VIP tickets. Proceeds from the tickets sold will be given to area nonprofit organizations and to local charities.
