RAYMONDVILLE, TX - Wilma L. Neumayer, 95, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Harlingen Medical Center.

She was born on July 2, 1920 in Hamilton, Kansas, to John Albert and Goldie Frazier.

Wilma is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Howard Neumayer; six brothers, Weldon, Bob, James, Ernie, Eugene and Bill Frazier who all served in the military. She is survived by one sister, Maryln Earp, her son Jon (Kay) Neumayer; daughter, Vicki (David) Shewmaker; six grandchildren, Rhonda Neumayer, Ron Neumayer, Renae (Brian) Gensman, Robert (Cindy) Neumayer, Troy (Amanda) Shewmaker, and Ryan Shewmaker; nieces and nephews, Marlene (Calvin) Hinde, Ann (Loy) Fankhauser, Ann (Robert) Neumayer, Barry (Susan) Moore, Benny (Ann) Hall and Ritchard Hall.

Wilma and Howard married just before she graduated at Madison High School. Howard was employed for 26 years at Cities Services Oil before he retired to move to Madison to care for his parents, Robert and Hazel Neumayer.

In 1978, Howard and Wilma took a job in Enid, Oklahoma, managing a mobile home park and were there 11 year before retiring (again) to South Texas to be near their daughter, Vicki.

Wilma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always had a hug and a smile. There was always a cup of coffee and good times at her house. We will miss her. She is in heaven now and heaven is a better place. RIP mom. Love never dies.

Family will receive visitors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Duddlesten Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held in Madison, Kansas at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo, Raymondville, Texas.
