The ORIGINAL PETITION OF A CHILD, FOR CONSERVATORSHIP, AND FOR TERMINATION IN SUIT AFFECTING THE PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (the Department), Petitioner, by and through its attorney MICHELLE SMITH, Regional Attorney, 300 East Canton Road, Edinburg, Texas 78539, was filed in the District Court of Willacy County, Texas 197th DISTRICT COURT, on the 20th day of September, 2017 against BRENDA LEE NAVARRO, SAMMY DAVIS LEDESMA AND THE UNKNOWN FATHER, Respondent(s) and said suit being numbered 2017-CV-0583-A on the docket of said Court, and entitled In the Interest of Americo Michael Ledesma, A CHILD.

“The nature of which suit is a request that the Petitioner be named Temporary Managing Conservator, and/or that the parental rights be terminated and that the Department be named as Permanent Managing Conservator along with other orders as the Court finds are in the best interest of the child(ren). If this citation is not served within the ninety days after the date of its issuance, it shall be returned unserved.

The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirements of law, and the mandates hereof, and make due return as law directs.
