Students at Lasara ISD who are in STAAR tested grades are currently taking benchmarks to assist teachers to see where the students are as far as the mastery of TEKS. This will allow teachers to also plan for extra help and tutoring as well. The Project RISE Cadre will be meeting with teachers and will be analyzing the results to plan for interventions. The CADRE will be utilizing the campus Data Wall and Data room to have planning conversations on what our students may need and what curriculum adjustments may be needed.

GEAR UP

There will be a GEAR UP Orientation meeting for 7th Grade Parents and Students on November 14, 2018 in the Lion’s Den at 5:30 p.m. Please make plans to attend our Kick Off event with GEAR UP College Ready, Career Set!

Sport’s Talk Cross Country

Lasara High School sophomore, Jaqueline Mendez, recently became the FIRST female cross country runner to qualify for the State Cross Country Meet. She ran at the meet this past Saturday, November 2nd, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Jaqueline was one of one hundred fifty runners in the 2A Girls race.
